The Cadolzburg Oberamt was one of the fifteen senior offices with which the Principality of Ansbach organized the administration of its territorial property.

The Oberamt Cadolzburg bordered the Oberamt Schwabach in the southeast, the Oberamt Windsbach in the southwest, the Brandenburg-Bayreuth Neuhof in the west, the Brandenburg-Bayreuth Fraischvogteiamt Emskirchen-Hagenbüchach in the northwest , the Bamberg Centamt Herzogenaurach in the north and the East to the Bamberg cathedral provost office in Fürth and to the imperial city of Nuremberg .
structure
The administrative seat of the area was Cadolzburg Castle . The high judiciary was divided into three Fraisch districts: Upper Office Cadolzburg, Judge Office Roßtal and Stadtvogteiamt Langenzenn. The Cadolzburg caste office largely administered the manorial claims of the upper office. In addition, these were the monastery office Langenzenn and the administration office Deberndorf.
