history

The place was first mentioned in 1287 as "Levtoldeshove". This means that it was founded in the high medieval state expansion phase in the 12th and 13th centuries.

In 1732 there were 12 properties in Leitelshof, according to the descriptions of Johann Georg Vetter . 2 properties were subordinate to the imperial city of Nuremberg ( St. Clare's office : 1, imperial alms: 1) and 10 properties to the Nuremberg Order of the Teutonic Order . Towards the end of the 18th century there were still 12 properties and a community shepherd's house in Leitelshof. The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Ansbach judge's office in Roßtal . The Teutonic Order Coming Nuremberg held the village and community rule. The landlords were the Deutschordenskommende Nürnberg (4 whole yards, 3 half yards, 1 Gütlein), the Kastenamt Schwabach (1 Gütlein), the state alms office of the Imperial City of Nuremberg (1 Köblergut ) and the Nuremberg owner von Scheurl (2 half yards).

As part of the municipal edict, in 1808 Leitelshof was assigned to the Regelsbach tax district , Section II. It also belonged to the rural community of Regelsbach formed in 1818 . On May 1, 1978, Leitelshof was incorporated into Rohr as part of the regional reform in Bavaria .
