Christenmühle is a district of the municipality Rohr in the district of Roth in Middle Franconia .

geography

The wasteland lies on the Schwabach . To the southwest of the village lies the Tiefes Tal corridor area. The district road AN 29 / RH 12 leads to Göddeldorf (1.5 km west) or to the state road 2239 near Rohr (0.4 km east).

history

The place was first mentioned in 1404 as "Obermul" and in 1454 as "Cristen Mul", named after the tenant Christ. The court belonged to the Teutonic Order of Nuremberg . In 1623 she was named as possession. Towards the end of the 18th century, the Christian mill belonged to the Rohr. The Christian mill consisted of only one property. The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Ansbach Oberamt Schwabach . The Nuremberg Order of the Teutonic Order had the grinding and sawmill as the landlord . Under the Prussian administration (1792–1806) of the Principality of Ansbach, the Christian mill was given number 56 in the town of Rohr.

As part of the community edict, Christenmühle was assigned to the Rohr tax district , Section I in 1808 . It also belonged to the Rohr rural community formed in 1818 .
