history

The place was first mentioned by name in 1245 as "Godelnorf" with the meaning to the village of Godilo . The monastery Heilsbronn purchased four farms in the village, the first in the 1245th

In 1529, three subordinate families were subordinate to the Rohr Hauptmannschaft of the imperial city of Nuremberg .

In the 16-point report of the Heilsbronn monastery office from 1608, only the four teams are listed for Göddeldorf who had the Heilsbronn monastery administrator office as landlord . The Nuremberg teams are not mentioned. The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Ansbach caste and city bailiff's office in Windsbach . In the Thirty Years' War Göddeldorf remained Although largely spared, yet deserted the then existing four courtyards. Only after the war did they have owners again, for the last 17 years after the end of the war.

Towards the end of the 18th century there were eight properties in Göddeldorf. The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Ansbach judge's office in Roßtal , the village and community rulership was held by the Heilsbronn monastery administrator. The landlords were the Heilsbronn monastery administration office (3 courtyards, 1 mill, community pastor's house ) and the Imperial City of Nuremberg ( hospital office : 2 courtyards, state alms office: 1 courtyard). There were seven subject families at the time, four of which were Ansbachian. From 1797 to 1808 the place was subordinate to the Justice and Chamber Office Schwabach .

As part of the community edict, Göddeldorf was assigned to the Weissenbronn tax district formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the rural community of Weißenbronn, founded in 1810 . With the second community edict (1818), Göddeldorf was re-incorporated into the newly formed rural community of Seitendorf . In the course of the territorial reform on January 1, 1972, the municipality Seitendorf was incorporated into the city of Heilsbronn.
