Höfstetten (colloquially: Heschdad ) is a district of the city of Heilsbronn in the Ansbach district in Middle Franconia .
geography
The Triebendorfer Graben, which is a right tributary of the Bibert , rises near the hamlet . A communal road leads the district roads AN 17 crossing to Steinbach (2.7 km east). Another community road leads to the AN 17 near Ketteldorf (0.5 km south) or to the AN 24 south of Betzendorf (1.4 km northeast).
history
The place was first mentioned in 1194 with the name "Hovestete". The place name simply denotes the location of a farm. The Heilsbronn Monastery acquired goods in Höfstetten in 1249 under the 9th Abbot Edelwinus by exchanging goods from the Bamberg Cathedral . Goods were given in Laubendorf for it. In total, the monastery acquired seven properties.
The 16-point report of the Heilsbronn monastery office from 1608 lists seven teams for Höfstetten, all of which had the Bonnhof caste office as landlord (four farmers, three Köbler ). The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Ansbach caste and city bailiff's office in Windsbach . During the Thirty Years' War the place suffered little damage, some properties remained occupied.
Towards the end of the 18th century there were ten properties in Höfstetten (1 courtyard, 4 half courtyards, 1 inn, 2 estates, 1 house, community pastor's house). The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Bayreuth city bailiff's office in Markt Erlbach to a limited extent. If necessary, it had to be delivered to the Brandenburg-Ansbach judges office in Roßtal . The Brandenburg-Bayreuth caste office Bonnhof held the village and community rulership and the lordship over all properties. There were seven subject families at that time. From 1797 to 1808 the place was subordinate to the Justice and Chamber Office Cadolzburg .
In 1806 Höfstetten came to the Kingdom of Bavaria . As part of the municipal edict, Höfstetten was assigned to the Petersaurach tax district, which was formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the rural community Petersaurach founded in 1810 . With the second community edict (1818), Höfstetten broke up with Neuhöflein from Petersaurach and formed a rural community. It was subject to the Heilsbronn Regional Court in administration and jurisdiction and the Windsbach Rent Office in the financial administration . From 1862 to 1879 Höfstetten was administered by the Heilsbronn District Office , since 1880 by the Ansbach District Office (renamed the Ansbach District in 1938 ) and the Heilsbronn Rent Office (1920–1929: Heilsbronn Tax Office , from 1929: Ansbach Tax Office ). The jurisdiction remained with the district court Heilsbronn until 1879, 1880–1956 district court Heilsbronn , since 1956 district court Ansbach . The municipality had an area of 4,810 km². In the course of the regional reform , this was incorporated into Heilsbronn on May 1, 1978.
