The Schwabacher county was under Prussian administration one of six counties in the principality of Ansbach , headquartered in Schwabach .

history

The Schwabach district existed from 1797 to 1806. The district authority was called the district directorate. It was formed mainly from the upper offices of Burgthann , Cadolzburg and Schwabach . Some places were added that were previously under other rulers. Justice and administration were separated. The subordinate authorities included the judicial offices of Burgthann, Cadolzburg, Schwabach, Wöhrd / Gostenhof, the chamber offices of Burgthann, Cadolzburg, Schwabach and Wöhrd / Gostenhof and the magistrates of Langenzenn and Schwabach. The authorities were initially taken over by the new Kingdom of Bavaria , but on October 1, 1808, they were repealed. The Cadolzburg , Nuremberg , Schwabach regional courts and the Wilhermsdorf regional court were created in their place and were responsible for both administration and justice.
