history

In 1286 the place was first mentioned in a document as "Naspach". In the Margravial Salbuch of 1434 4 goods and 2 Selden goods are recorded for “Naspach” , which were vogtable to the Schwabach office, but were subject to foreign lords. In 1557 3 farms were listed as property for the Ebrach monastery . 1623 there were 8 property, 4 of the monastery Ebrach as landlord had and 4, the city of Nuremberg . In 1732 there were still 8 properties for Nasbach, according to Johann Georg Vetter's senior office descriptions. The Nuremberg properties were specified more precisely: 3 properties were subordinate to the rich alms, 1 property to the St. Klara monastery office . Towards the end of the 18th century there were 8 properties and a community shepherd's house in Nasbach. The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Ansbach Oberamt Schwabach . The village and township government had the box office Schwabach held. The landlords were the imperial city of Nuremberg (St. Klara monastery office: 1 whole courtyard; state alms office: 2 half courtyards, 1 Köblergut ) and the office of Katzwang of the Ebrach monastery (1 whole courtyard, 3 half courtyards).

In 1808, as part of the community edict, Nasbach was assigned to the Katzwang tax district , II. Section. It belonged to the rural community Penzendorf formed in 1818 . On January 1, 1956, Nasbach was incorporated into Schwabach.

religion

The place has been predominantly Evangelical-Lutheran since the Reformation. The inhabitants of the Evangelical Lutheran denomination were originally parish according to Our Lady (Katzwang) (Ebrach subjects), partly in the town church of St. Johannes and St. Martin (Schwabach) (Nuremberg subjects). All Lutherans have been parish in Schwabach since the middle of the 19th century.
