history

In the 13th century the place probably consisted of a whole courtyard. In 1410 the place was first mentioned in a document as "Forsthoff" in the land register of the burgraviate of Nuremberg . At that time there was only one estate there. In the succession of the burgraves, the place came to the Principality of Ansbach . In the books of 1434, 1530 and 1623 only one farm was recorded. In 1732, according to the descriptions of the upper office by Johann Georg Vetter, the place belonged to the community of Uigenau. In Forsthof there were three properties (one half yard, two Gütlein), all of which were subordinate to the Schwabach caste office .

Towards the end of the 18th century there were also three properties in Forsthof (1 quarter courtyard with cones, 1 Gütlein, 1 empty house ). The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Ansbach Oberamt Schwabach . All properties had the caste office Schwabach as landlord . Under the Prussian administration (1792–1806) of the Principality of Ansbach, the Forsthof was given house numbers 11 to 13 in Uigenau. In 1800 there were still 3 properties in the village.

As part of the municipal edict, Forsthof was assigned to the Kammerstein tax district in 1808 . It also belonged to the rural community Kammerstein formed in 1818 . On November 15, 1924, Forsthof was reclassified to Schwabach.
