history

In 1414 the place was first mentioned in a document as "Nydernbaynbach". In the margravial Salbuch of 1434, only a gradient of two Vogthühnern per year is recorded for “Nidernpemmbach” , which was obtained from 2 Gütlein and 1 Hofstatt. The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Ansbach Oberamt Schwabach . In 1623 2 properties were under the Schwabach hospital in Brandenburg-Ansbach . These two properties were also mentioned in the descriptions of the upper office by Johann Georg Vetter in 1732. Towards the end of the 18th century the place consisted of two half courtyards and a community shepherd's house. In 1802 there were still 2 properties in the village.

In 1808, as part of the municipal edict, Unterbaimbach was assigned to the Dietersdorf tax district , Section II. It also belonged to the Dietersdorf rural community formed in 1818 . On October 14, 1959, the community was renamed Wolkersdorf . On July 1, 1972, Unterbaimbach was incorporated into Schwabach as part of the regional reform in Bavaria .
