Schwarzach bei Schwabach (officially Schwarzach b.Schwabach ) is a district of the independent city of Schwabach .

Geographical location

The village of Schwarzach is about twelve kilometers south of Nuremberg , two kilometers east of Schwabach and right at the confluence of the Rednitz and Schwarzach rivers . The state road in 2239 affected the town south. It leads to a junction of the federal road 2 (0.1 km southwest) or to Neuses (1.1 km northeast).

history

Early history

The Schwarzachtal was already regularly walked by people in the Stone Age , but not permanently settled, as several ground monuments from outdoor stations show. The first traces of early settlement and some Bronze Age graves are only a few kilometers upstream and date from around 1600 to 1300 BC. So far, about 20 ground monuments from the Mesolithic , Neolithic and Latène periods have been qualified.

At the turn of the times, the entire Regnitz river system was considered to be the area where the Narisker spread out (see map 1). Around the year 650 Boirian settlers advanced into the Schwarzachtal from the south-east, but they were pushed back by the Franks coming from the west around 725 . The neighboring towns of Schwabach 1117, and first mentioned in King Hammer to 1200th

Modern times

In 1793, the Schwabach needle manufacturer Jakobi built a mill on the district of Schaftnach , which was used to manufacture needles. There was also a workers' house. Until 1840 the mill was called "Nadelfabrik", 1861 "Schwarzacher Nadelfabrik", from 1871 to 1900 "Schwarzach" and from 1925 finally "Schwarzach bei Schwabach". The place name is derived from the water body of the same name, which means "Black Ache ".

As part of the municipal edict , Schwarzach was assigned to the Großschwarzenlohe tax district , 1st section in 1808 . It also belonged to the Großschwarzenlohe rural community formed in 1818 .

During the Second World War there was an anti-aircraft gun position in Schwarzach with an ammunition bunker in deep rock cellars. A complete destruction of the place and the already ordered demolition of the nearby Rednitz Bridge could just be averted by the unconditional surrender on April 19, 1945 despite the raging battle for Nuremberg on April 18, 1945 and the bombing of Schwabach.

On May 1, 1978, Schwarzach near Schwabach was incorporated into Schwabach as part of the regional reform in Bavaria .

present

At the end of the 20th century, Schwarzach became an enclave , encircled between the motorway-like Federal Highway 2 , the Federal Motorway 6 , the State Road 2239 , the Main-Danube Canal , a garbage dump and an area-intensive newly built industrial site. The high traffic load on the surrounding traffic arteries and the omnipresent light and noise pollution have made the place unattractive despite the scenic location. In addition, there is the recurring odor nuisance from the garbage dumps immediately to the north that belong to Neuses . A real estate office and an electrical installation company are currently in operation on site; four plots ready for construction and the former mill are advertised for sale. Solar-electric systems with a total output of around 18 kilowatts are installed on the roofs. A former holiday home of the Protestant church at the southern entrance to the village was rededicated as a small home for asylum seekers in 2013 after massive protests by residents, serious concerns from the Greens and some graffiti by sympathizers of the Free Network South .
