history
In the document of 1255, a man was named with the knight Albrecht or Albertus Rindsmaul von Grünsberg (Rindismul von Grundesperc) who had a legal dispute with the Heilsbronn monastery . He withdrew his attacks directed against the monastery "in the village called Minus Wizmannesdorf" at the request of the monks. At the same time he renounced all rights to the monastery in "villa Minus Wizmannesdorf". The defining word of the place name is the personal name Wizman. In total, the monastery acquired four farms there.
Towards the end of the 18th century there were five properties in Kleinweismannsdorf (two courtyards, one half courtyard, one estate, one shepherd's house). The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Bayreuth city bailiff's office in Markt Erlbach to a limited extent. If necessary, it had to be delivered to the Brandenburg-Ansbach judges office in Roßtal . The village and township government had the box office Dietenhofen-Bonnhof held. The Bonnhof caste office was the sole landlord .
As part of the community edict, Kleinweismannsdorf was assigned to the Großweismannsdorf tax district formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the rural community Großweismannsdorf , which was founded in the same year .
As part of the regional reform in Bavaria , Kleinweismannsdorf was incorporated into Roßtal on May 1, 1978.
