history

The place was first mentioned around 1204 as "Nivsazzen" in a document in which the Heilsbronn monastery was given a fiefdom of the Eichstätter church. The place name means to the new seat .

Towards the end of the 18th century there were nine properties and a community shepherd's house in Neuses. The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Ansbach judge's office in Roßtal . The landlords were the manor Neudorf (a half yard ), the parish Roßtal (a half yard), the imperial city of Nuremberg : Landesalmosenamt (a yard), St. Klara monastery office (a estate) and Nuremberg owners: von Kreß (a half yard), von Oelhafen (a mill), von Tucher (a farm), von Wölckern (an estate). The village and community rule was exercised by the landlords in rotation. In 1801 there were ten properties in the village, one of which was Ansbach and nine belonged to foreigners.

As part of the community edict, Neuses was assigned to the Weinzierlein tax district formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the rural community Weinzierlein , which was founded in the same year . A property was subject to voluntary jurisdiction until 1812 and from 1822 to 1835 to the Patrimonial Court of Lohe and Behringersdorf , a property from 1820 to 1836 to the Patrimonial Court of Neudorf and a property until 1812 to the Patrimonial Court of Oelhafen.

As part of the regional reform in Bavaria , Neuses was incorporated into Roßtal on May 1st, 1978.
