history

The brook was first mentioned in a document around 800 as "Claraspah" in the description of the marrow of the Regensburg Benedictine monastery of St. Emmeram . The meaning of the stream name is unclear. A derivation of "clear" is not possible, since the adjective is only used in Middle High German . The place itself is mentioned for the first time in the Salbuch of Heilsbronn Monastery from 1402 as "Clarspach". Heilsbronn Monastery acquired two farms there.

At the end of the 18th century there were 9 properties in Clarsbach. The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Ansbach judge's office in Roßtal . The village and township government had the box office Dietenhofen-Bonnhof held. The Brandenburg-Bayreuth municipal bailiff's office in Markt Erlbach exercised a limited extent over the Bayreuth subjects . The landlords were the Kastenamt Cadolzburg (one courtyard, shepherd's house), the Kastenamt Bonnhof (two courtyards, one half courtyard, 1 house), the Nuremberg owners of Holzschuher (two courtyards) and von Stromer (one estate).

As part of the community edict, Clarsbach was assigned to the Buchschwabach tax district formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the Buchschwabach rural community founded in the same year . 1 property was subject to the patrimonial court of Stromer in voluntary jurisdiction until 1812 .

As part of the regional reform in Bavaria , Clarsbach was incorporated into Roßtal on May 1, 1978.
