geography

The village is located in Rangau about 2.8 kilometers southeast of Großhabersdorf and 4.4 kilometers west of Roßtal on a flat hilly plain and is immediately surrounded by green and arable land. In the north the field is called Bronner Wegäcker, in the south Leiten and in the east Hollerstauden. The Untreubächlein, which is a right tributary of the Bibert , rises in the village . Approx. 0.5 km further west is the forest area in the location, approx. 0.75 km northwest of the Lohwald, approx. 0.75 km north of the community forest and approx. 0.75 km northeast of the Buttendorfer forest.

history

The place was first mentioned in 1265 as "Brunste". From the place name one can conclude that the settlement area was won by burning down forest. In 1594 the place was first referred to as "Förrnbrunst", probably to distinguish it from Prünst, about 10 kilometers south-east . The defining word of the place name is the pine .

Towards the end of the 18th century there were 27 properties in Fernabrünst. The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Ansbach judge's office in Roßtal . The Brandenburg-Ansbach judge's office in Habersdorf was in charge of the village and community . The landlords were the Kastenamt Cadolzburg (one courtyard, one half-yard, one estate), the parish Cadolzburg (one estate), the Zautendorf Foundation (three yards, three estates, six estates), the imperial city of Nuremberg : Landesalmosenamt (one yard), St. -Klara-Klosteramt (one estate), Schlüsselfelder-Stiftung (one yard) and Nuremberg owners: von Haller (three yards, one half yard), von Imhoff (two yards), von Lichtenhof (one half yard), von Volckamer (one yard) . From 1797 to 1808 the place was subordinate to the Justice and Chamber Office Cadolzburg .

In 1806 Fernabrünst came to the Kingdom of Bavaria . As part of the municipal edict, the Fernabrünst tax district was formed in 1808 , to which the towns of Bronnenmühle , Vincenzenbronn and Wendsdorf belonged. In the same year the rural community Fernabrünst was founded, which was congruent with the tax district. The community was under administration and jurisdiction of the district court Cadolzburg and in the financial administration of the bursary Cadolzburg (in 1920 the tax office Cadolzburg renamed). From 1862 Fernabrünst was administered by the Fürth district office (renamed the Fürth district in 1938 ). Jurisdiction remained with the Cadolzburg District Court until 1879, from 1880 to March 1, 1931 it was with the Cadolzburg District Court , since then it has been exercised by the Fürth District Court . The financial management was taken over on January 1, 1929 by the Fürth tax office . The municipality had an area of 11,988 km².

With the territorial reform in Bavaria , the municipality of Fernabrünst was dissolved and incorporated into the municipality of Großhabersdorf on January 1, 1972.

At the beginning of the 1996 school year, the 115 bus line was added between the Großhabersdorfer school and the Roßtaler train station via Schwaighausen . The bus stopped at the fire station and in the settlement at the confluence of Schlehenweg and Fernabrünster Hauptstrasse (district road). The line was discontinued at the beginning of the summer vacation in July 2006.
