Buchschwabach (colloquially: "Būchschwo u ba") is a district of the market Roßtal in the district of Fürth .

geography

The church village lies on the Schwallbach, a left tributary of the Schwabach, and on the Klingenwasser, which flows into the Schwallbach as the right, and on the Mühlbach, which flows as the left tributary. The place is surrounded by arable land and grassland with a few trees. In the west, the hall is called Holzleite, in the north Kirchberg and Rinnengraben, in the northeast Pfaffenberg, in the east Langer Strich. A little further to the southwest is the Magdalenenholz, to the south the Heiligenholz and the Rohrer Holz.

The federal highway 14 runs past Müncherlbach to Heilsbronn (7.5 km southwest) or to Großweismannsdorf (4.2 km northwest). The district road FÜ 23 / RH 14 leads to Rohr to the state road 2239 (2.7 km south). A community road leads to Defersdorf (1.8 km east), another to Raitersaich to FÜ 22 (3 km west).

history

The first documentary mention dates from 1396, but it is very likely that the place has existed since the 9th century. In the records of the Benedictine monastery of St. Emmeram , an area called "Puchsuapah" (the stream on which beeches stand) is referred to as the northern limit of the monastery mark. A church was probably built in the 13th century, but it was destroyed in the middle of the 15th century. In 1449 a new church was built in which the remains of the old church were built (today's Maria Magdalena Church). Most of this church was preserved.

At the end of the 18th century there were 26 properties in Buchschwabach. The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Ansbach judge's office in Roßtal . The Nuremberg owners von Forster and von Oelhafen jointly ruled the village and community . The landlords were the Nuremberg owners von Forster (three farms, five estates, one inn, one house), von Kreß (two farms, one estate), von Oelhafen (three farms, four estates, a mill, a legacy store), von Örtel ( a half courtyard). The forge, the shepherd's house and the shepherd's house were communal buildings.

As part of the municipal edict, the Buchschwabach tax district was established in 1808 . The places Clarsbach and Raitersaich belonged to the 1st section, the places Kastenreuth , Oedenreuth , Trettendorf , Weitersdorf and Wimpashof belonged to the 2nd section . In the same year the rural community Buchschwabach was founded, which was congruent with the I. section of the tax district. The community was under administration and jurisdiction of the district court Cadolzburg and in the financial administration of the bursary Cadolzburg (in 1920 the tax office Cadolzburg renamed). 9 properties were subject to voluntary jurisdiction until 1812 and from 1820 to 1848 to the Buchschwabach Patrimonial Court . From 1862 Buchschwabach was administered by the Fürth district office (renamed the Fürth district in 1938 ). Jurisdiction remained with the Cadolzburg District Court until 1879, from 1880 to March 1, 1931 it was with the Cadolzburg District Court , since then it has been exercised by the Fürth District Court . The financial management was taken over on January 1, 1929 by the Fürth tax office . The municipality had an area of 12,152 km².

As part of the regional reform in Bavaria , Buchschwabach was incorporated into Roßtal on May 1, 1978.
