Defersdorf (colloquially: "Dēweʳschdoʳf") is a district of the market Roßtal in the district of Fürth .
geography
The village is located on a left tributary of the Schwallbach , which in turn is a left tributary of the Schwabach . The place is surrounded by arable land, grassland and smaller forest areas. The corridor is called Langer Strich in the northwest, Im Fleck in the south and Bergfeld in the southeast. Approx. The Kühbuck is located 0.5 km east of the village. Municipal roads lead to federal highway 14 (1 km northwest), to Weiler (1.2 km south) and to Kleinweismannsdorf (2.4 km northeast).
history
The place was probably founded around 800. In a document, which must have been drawn up between 1132 and 1150, the sale of the goods of the Bamberg canon "Volmar in Tefersendorf" in Ketteldorf to the Heilsbronn monastery was confirmed. This is also the first written mention of the place. The defining word of the place name is the Slavic personal name Dobriš. In 1339 the brothers Conradt and Burkhard Pfefferbalg sold land in "Teferßdorf" to the Heilsbronn monastery, which they had received from Count Gottfried von Hohenlohe . From 1566 to 1818 the Nuremberg patricians Scheurl had a seat in the village.
Towards the end of the 18th century there were eleven properties in Defersdorf (castle, four courtyards, a half courtyard, two estates, a little estate, a brickworks). The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Ansbach judge's office in Roßtal . The Scheurl von Defersdorf held the village and community rulership as well as the lordship over all properties. In 1799 there were still eleven properties in the village.
As part of the community edict, Defersdorf was assigned to the Großweismannsdorf tax district, which was formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the rural community Großweismannsdorf , which was founded in the same year . The whole place was subject to the patrimonial Defersdorf until 1848 in the voluntary jurisdiction .
As part of the regional reform in Bavaria , Defersdorf was incorporated into Roßtal on May 1, 1978.
