Weiler is part of the municipality of Rohr in the district of Roth in Middle Franconia .
geography
The village is located on the Schwallbach , a left tributary of the Schwabach . The Im Fleck corridor area borders in the northwest, the Wolfsbuck rises to the south and the Bergfeld lies in the northeast across the Schwallbach. A community road leads to Rohr to the district road RH 14 (1.8 km southwest) or to Defersdorf (1.2 km north). Another community road leads to Leitelshof (2.5 km east).
history
The place was 1152 as "Wilere" in a bull of Pope Eugene III. First mentioned in a document in which the Heilsbronn monastery was confirmed to have received goods from the Abenberg monastery, among other things, in this place. In 1732 there were 6 properties in Weiler, according to Johann Georg Vetter's descriptions of the upper office , 1 of which was subordinate to the Schwabach caste office , 1 property to the rich alms of the imperial city of Nuremberg and 4 properties from Nuremberg owners ( von Pömer : 1, von Scheurl : 3). Towards the end of the 18th century, there were 7 properties and a community shepherd's house in Weiler. The high court exercised partly the Brandenburg-Ansbach Oberamt Schwabach , partly the judge’s office in Roßtal . A municipality Lord , the village had not. The landlords were the Kastenamt Schwabach (1 half yard), the state alms office of the imperial city of Nuremberg (2 half yards) and Nuremberg owners (von Pömer: 1 half yard; von Scheurl: 2 whole yards, 1 Köblergut ). In 1804 there were 8 properties in the village, 2 of which were subordinate to the Principality of Ansbach and 6 to the imperial city of Nuremberg.
In 1808, as part of the municipal edict, Weiler was assigned to the Rohr tax district , Section I. It also belonged to the Rohr rural community formed in 1818 .
