history

In the 13th century the place consisted of 3 whole courtyards. In 1394 the place was first mentioned in a document as "Wildenbergen". On the road to Wildenbergen there are remains of a fortification, which probably originate from a fortress from the time of the Hungarian invasions. The remote village once guarded the Frankenstrasse from Main to Rednitz, which can still be traced as a footpath from Bundesstrasse 14 via Leitelshof to Schwabach .

In 1434, only one Seldengut was recorded in the margravial Salbuch , from which the margrave received a fast night hen every year as a slope . In 1623 there were 4 properties there, 1 of which was subordinate to the Schwabach caste office , 2 to the judges' office in Roßtal and 1 to the Schwabach hospital . The place was spared during the 30 Years War . In 1732 there were 7 properties in Wildenbergen according to the descriptions of the Oberamtsamt by Johann Georg Vetter : 2 properties were subordinate to the caste office in Schwabach, 1 property to the Schwabach hospital and 3 properties to the judge's office in Roßtal. Towards the end of the 18th century there were 7 properties and a community shepherd's house in Wildenbergen. The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Ansbach Oberamt Schwabach . The caste office Schwabach held the village and community rulership, but this was denied by the judge's office in Roßtal. The Principality of Ansbach was the landlord of all properties (Kastenamt Schwabach: 1 Viertelhof, 1 Köblergut ; Spital Schwabach: 1 Köblergut; Kastenamt Cadolzburg : 3 half-yards, 1 Köblergut).

As part of the municipal edict , Wildenbergen was assigned to the Regelsbach tax district , II. Section in 1808 . It belonged to the rural community of Gustenfelden formed in 1818 . On May 1, 1978 Wildenbergen was incorporated into Rohr as part of the regional reform in Bavaria .

Up until the beginning of the 20th century, parlor sand was mined on the Teufelsberg .
