Oberamt Neuhof (Principality of Bayreuth)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Oberamt Neuhof was one of the 13 administrative areas of the Principality of Bayreuth .

history

The Dietenhofen and Bonnhof caste offices originally formed the Bonnhof provost of Heilsbronn monastery . The Neuhof caste office and the Markt Erlbach bailiff originally formed the Neuhof provost's office. With the secularization of the monastery through the Reformation, the offices fell to the Principality of Bayreuth.

In 1720 the Oberamt Neuhof was formed. Most recently, the sovereignty ( high court , lower court outside the Etter , church sovereignty , tax sovereignty, etc.) extended to an area that roughly corresponded to the district court of Markt Erlbach .

In the manorial rule of individual properties there were foreign lords , and the Oberamt Neuhof also had manorial claims outside of its Fraisch district.

From 1791/92 the Principality of Bayreuth was administered by the Prussian state as Ansbach-Bayreuth . The Oberamt Neuhof was thus incorporated into the Neustadt district .
