Altziegenrück is a district of the Markt Erlbach market in the Neustadt an der Aisch-Bad Windsheim district in Middle Franconia .
geography
The village is located on the Erlbacher Plateau, which drops off immediately to the west of the village. About one kilometer to the west is the Brand forest area , about 750 meters southwest of Fichtlein . A community road leads to Neuziegenrück to state road 2255 (0.6 km southeast) or to state road 2255 near Markt Erlbach (1 km northeast). Another community connection road leads to a community connection road (1 km west) between Altselingsbach (0.6 km south) and Hagenhofen (1 km north).
history
The place was 1145/53 in a bull of Pope Eugene III. In addition to other places mentioned for the first time by name, in which the Heilsbronn monastery was guaranteed possessions. In 1165 the place was mentioned as "Cigenrucge". At that time, Ziegenrück was a wine village and had to pay the wine tithes to the monastery. In the period that followed, the monastery acquired nine properties. In the Thirty Years' War which devastated seven.
At the end of the 18th century there were 15 properties in Altziegenrück. The high court and the rulership of the village and community was exercised by the Brandenburg-Bayreuth municipal bailiff's office in Markt Erlbach . The landlords were the municipal bailiff's office in Markt Erlbach (3 estates, 2 houses) and the caste office in Neuhof (3 courtyards, 5 estates, 1 house, 1 community pastoral house).
As part of the municipal edict, Altziegenrück was assigned to the Markt Erlbach tax district formed in 1811 . It also belonged to the municipality of Markt Erlbach, founded in 1813 . With the second community edict (1818) the reunification to Eschenbach took place . On January 1, 1972, Altziegenrück was incorporated into Markt Erlbach as part of the regional reform .

The place has been mostly Protestant since the Reformation. The residents of the Evangelical Lutheran denomination are parish to St. Kilian (Markt Erlbach) , the residents of the Roman Catholic denomination are parish to St. Michael (Wilhermsdorf) .
