history

Towards the end of the 18th century there was an estate in Ziegelhütte. The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Bayreuth municipal bailiff's office in Markt Erlbach . The estate was owned by Wilhermsdorf as the landlord .

As part of the community edict, Ziegelhütte was assigned to the Buchklingen tax district formed in 1811 and also belonged to the Buchklingen rural community formed in 1813 . In 1815 it was changed to the newly founded rural community Kappersberg . It was subordinate to the district court of Markt Erlbach . However, the Wilhermsdorf Patrimonial Court held voluntary jurisdiction and the police until 1839. On November 9, 1824, it was changed to the newly founded municipality of Kotzenaurach . On June 1, 1968, before the regional reform in Bavaria , Ziegelhütte was incorporated into Markt Erlbach.
