Wasserhaus is a district of the Markt Erlbach market in the Neustadt an der Aisch-Bad Windsheim district in Middle Franconia .

geography

The wasteland lies on the Selingsbach, which is a left tributary of the Zenn . The forest area borders Brand in the north . The Steinberg rises 250 meters south of the village . A service road leads to Altselingsbach (0.9 km southeast).

history

Wasserhaus was built in 1910 as a pumping station for the water supply of the city of Bad Windsheim . It was in the area of the municipality of Altselingsbach . It has been run as a district since 1950. On January 1, 1970, before the regional reform in Bavaria , Wasserhaus was incorporated into Markt Erlbach.
