Röschenmühle is a district of the Markt Erlbach market in the Neustadt an der Aisch-Bad Windsheim district in Middle Franconia .

geography

The wasteland lies on the Selingsbach, which is a left tributary of the Zenn , and on the Pilsenbach, which flows into the Selingsbach as a left tributary. The Fichtlein forest area is around 500 meters southwest of the village . A communal road leads past Neuselingsbach to State Road 2413 (2 km southeast) or to Altselingsbach (0.5 km west). Another community road leads to Altziegenrück (0.6 km northeast).

history

The place was first mentioned by name in 1402 as "der Reschenmülner".

Towards the end of the 18th century, the Röschenmühle belonged to Altselingsbach . The mill had the Brandenburg-Bayreuth caste office Neuhof as landlord . Under the Prussian administration (1792–1806) of the Principality of Bayreuth, the Röschenmühle was given house numbers 1 and 2 in Altselingsbach.

As part of the community edict, Röschenmühle was assigned to the Linden tax district formed in 1811 . It belonged to the rural community Altselingsbach, founded in 1813 . On January 1, 1970, before the regional reform in Bavaria , Röschenmühle was incorporated into Markt Erlbach.

The place has been mostly Protestant since the Reformation. The residents of the Evangelical Lutheran denomination are parish to St. Kilian (Markt Erlbach) , the residents of the Roman Catholic denomination are parish to St. Michael (Wilhermsdorf) .
