Altselingsbach is a district of the Markt Erlbach market in the Neustadt an der Aisch-Bad Windsheim district in Middle Franconia .

geography

The village lies on the Selingsbach , a left tributary of the Zenn . The Steinberg rises to the west, approx. 0.5 km northwest of the village is the Brand forest area, and the Fichtlein forest area borders in the south. Approx. 0.75 km to the southwest is the Alte Hohenroth corridor area. Municipal roads lead to Hohenroth (2.2 km to the west), to Hagenhofen (1.6 km to the north) and past the Röschenmühle and Neuselingsbach to the state road 2413 (2.5 km to the south-east). A service road leads to the water house (0.9 km northwest).

history

The place was 1145/53 in a bull of Pope Eugene III. In addition to other places mentioned for the first time by name, in which the Heilsbronn monastery was guaranteed possessions. In 1169 the monastery acquired a slope in "Selhesbach". 1255 the place as "Selhesperge" was mentioned in a document, the monastery Heilsbronn in the Albert von Hohenlohe through provision of gradients u. a. wanted to pay compensation in Selingsbach. The monastery had a 95 acre forest there called Steinberg. The monastery acquired a total of seven properties. In the Thirty Years' War five remained inhabited it.

Towards the end of the 18th century there were 11 properties in Altselingsbach (1 mill, 1 half yard, 5 estates, 1 estate, 1 little house, 1 community pastor's house). The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Bayreuth municipal bailiff's office in Markt Erlbach . The Neuhof caste office held the village and community rulership and the lordship over all properties .

In 1810 Altselingsbach became part of the new Kingdom of Bavaria . With the municipal edict it was assigned to the Linden tax district formed in 1811 . In 1813 the rural community Altselingsbach was formed, to which Hagenhofen , Hohenroth , Pilsenmühle and Röschenmühle belonged. It was subordinate to the regional court of Markt Erlbach in administration and jurisdiction and to the Ipsheim Rent Office in the financial administration . From 1862 Altselingsbach was part of the Neustadt an der Aisch district office (renamed the Neustadt an der Aisch district in 1938 ) and was subordinate to the Markt Erlbach rent office from 1856 (1920–1929: Markt Erlbach tax office , from 1929: Fürth tax office ). The jurisdiction remained until 1879 with the district court of Markt Erlbach, 1880–1959 district court of Markt Erlbach , from 1959 district court of Fürth . The municipality had an area of ​​7,897 km². The water house has been run as a district since 1950 .

On January 1, 1970, before the regional reform in Bavaria , the municipality of Altselingsbach was dissolved: Hohenroth was incorporated into Trautskirchen , all other districts in Markt Erlbach.
