The Straßäcker corridor area is also located in the north .

The district road NEA 17 leads to Schußbach (2.2 km south-east) or to the state road 2252 (1.2 km north-west). A community road leads to a community road (1 km east), which leads to Wilhelmsgreuth (0.4 km south) and also to state road 2252 (0.8 km north).

history

A document from 1164 shows that the Heilsbronn Monastery acquired a barren piece of land and distributed it to the surrounding residents, who then founded "Mucginrute", "Willehalmesrute" and "Breminrute". According to G. Muck, Breminrute should be today's Jobstgreuth and Mucginrute today's Hohenroth . According to H. Sponholz, Mucginrute has become a desert and Breminrute is today's Jobstgreuth. In the 12th century a chapel was built in the village, which then led to the change of the place name. The monastery acquired a total of 15 properties there, 12 of which were deserted during the Thirty Years War .

At the end of the 18th century there were 17 properties in Jobstgreuth (church, school, 1 courtyard, 1 half-yard, 1 blacksmith's shop, 6 goods, 1 semi-estate, 6 houses, 1 brickyard ). The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Bayreuth municipal bailiff's office in Markt Erlbach . The Neuhof caste office held the village and community rulership and the lordship over all properties .

In 1810 Jobstgreuth came to the new Kingdom of Bavaria . As part of the community edict , it was assigned to the Linden tax district formed in 1811 . In 1813 the rural community Jobstgreuth was formed, to which Haaghof and Wilhelmsgreuth belonged. It was subordinate to the regional court of Markt Erlbach in administration and jurisdiction and to the Ipsheim Rent Office in the financial administration . From 1862 Jobstgreuth was administered by the Neustadt an der Aisch district office (renamed the Neustadt an der Aisch district in 1938 ) and from 1856 by the Markt Erlbach rent office (1920–1929: Markt Erlbach tax office , from 1929: Neustadt an der Aisch tax office ). The jurisdiction remained with the district court of Markt-Erlbach until 1879, 1880–1959 district court of Markt Erlbach , from 1959 district court of Fürth . The municipality had an area of 3,909 km².

On January 1, 1972 Jobstgreuth was incorporated into Markt Erlbach as part of the regional reform .
