Haaghof existed before the Thirty Years' War , but it was deserted during the chaos of the war. In 1710, the Brandenburg-Bayreuth game master Johann Grebner bought the property and built a farm on it. The present farm dates from 1826.

As part of the municipal edict, Haaghof was assigned to the Linden tax district formed in 1811 . It belonged to the rural community of Jobstgreuth, founded in 1813 . On January 1, 1972, Haaghof was incorporated into Markt Erlbach as part of the regional reform .
