history
The place was in 1402 in a land register mentioned as "Klausvrach" first name. In 1464 the place was mentioned as "Obernawarach". This place name is likely to be the more original and has only been changed since there was a chapel in the place with the patronage of St. Nicholas . The monastery Heilsbronn where he gained a ground rents.
Towards the end of the 18th century there were nine properties in Klausaurach. The high court south of the Aurach was exercised by the Brandenburg-Bayreuth municipal bailiff in Markt Erlbach , north of the Aurach by the town bailiff's Neustadt an der Aisch . The municipality of Markt Erlbach was in charge of the village and community . The landlords were the Stadtvogteiamt Markt Erlbach (5 courtyards, 1 estate), the parish of Markt Erlbach (1 estate, 1 small house) and the Neustadt an der Aisch hospital (1 courtyard).
In 1810 Klausaurach came to the new Kingdom of Bavaria . As part of the community edict , it was assigned to the Linden tax district formed in 1811 . It also belonged to the rural community of Linden formed in 1813 . With the second community edict (1818), Klausaurach formed its own rural community, which also included Mettelaurach , which until then had been part of the rural community of Buchen . The municipality of Klausaurach was under the administration and jurisdiction of the Markt Erlbach regional court and the Ipsheim rent office for the financial administration . From 1862 Klausaurach was administered by the Neustadt an der Aisch district office (renamed the Neustadt an der Aisch district in 1938 ) and from 1856 by the Markt Erlbach rent office (1920–1929: Markt Erlbach tax office , from 1929: Neustadt an der Aisch tax office ). The jurisdiction remained until 1879 with the district court of Markt Erlbach, 1880–1959 district court of Markt Erlbach , from 1959 district court of Fürth . The municipality had an area of 5.233 km².
On January 1, 1972, Klausaurach was incorporated into Markt Erlbach as part of the regional reform .
