history

The place (like Neukatterbach and Neuselingsbach ) was founded in the 17th century by Austrian (and Swiss) religious refugees.

Towards the end of the 18th century there were nine properties in Neuziegenrück. The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Bayreuth municipal bailiff's office in Markt Erlbach . The Neuhof caste office held the village and community rulership as well as the land rulership over the nine houses .

In 1810 Neuziegenrück came to the new Kingdom of Bavaria . As part of the community edict , it was assigned to the Neuhof tax district formed in 1811 . In 1813 the municipal community Neuhof was formed, to which Neuziegenrück also belonged. With the second community edict (1818), Neuziegenrück broke up with Neuselingsbach von Neuhof and formed an independent rural community . It was subordinate to the regional court of Markt Erlbach in administration and jurisdiction and to the Ipsheim Rent Office in the financial administration . From 1862 Neuziegenrück was administered by the Neustadt an der Aisch district office (renamed Neustadt an der Aisch district in 1938 ) and from 1856 by the Markt Erlbach rent office (1920–1929: Markt Erlbach tax office , from 1929: Fürth tax office ). The jurisdiction remained with the district court of Markt-Erlbach until 1879, 1880–1959 district court of Markt Erlbach , from 1959 district court of Fürth . The municipality had an area of 0.821 km².

On January 1, 1970, before the regional reform in Bavaria , Neuziegenrück was incorporated into Neuhof an der Zenn.
