history

Towards the end of the 18th century, the brickworks belonged to Neuhof. The property was owned by the Neuhof caste office in Brandenburg-Bayreuth as the landlord . Under the Prussian administration (1792–1806) of the Principality of Bayreuth, the brickworks was given house number 99 in Neuhof.

As part of the municipal edict, Ziegelhütte was assigned to the Neuhof an der Zenn tax district, which was formed in 1811 . It also belonged to the municipal community of Neuhof an der Zenn, founded in 1813 (from 1818: rural community Neuhof).
