history

The place was first mentioned by name in 1169 as "Niusezze" in a document. In this the exchange of goods between Bishop Konrad von Eichstätt and the Abbot Konrad of the Heilsbronn Monastery is sealed. The monastery acquired goods and slopes in this area , for Hirschneuses it was two acres of land. Only later did the place name get the addition "Hirsch–" from the nearby Hirschberg. In 1246, the burgraves Konrad I and Friedrich III. the gradient from their court to "Nuisese" the 9th Abbot Edelwinus as atonement and compensation for damage they had inflicted on the monastery. In 1305 the monastery bought further goods. The monastery acquired a total of 25 properties. During the Thirty Years War the place became completely deserted. With the adoption of the Reformation in 1528, Hirschneuses and Kirchfarrnbach are one of the oldest Protestant communities in Franconia.

At the end of the 18th century there were 26 properties in Hirschneuses (2 courtyards, 3 courtyards, 15 estates, 1 forge, 4 houses). The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Bayreuth municipal bailiff's office in Markt Erlbach . The Neuhof caste office held the village and community rulership and the lordship over all properties .

In 1810 Hirschneuses came to the new Kingdom of Bavaria . As part of the municipal edict, the Hirschneuses tax district was formed in 1811 , to which Altkatterbach , Dietenholz , Dippoldsberg , Kreben , Lösleinshäuslein , Meiersberg , Neudorf , Neudietenholz , Neukatterbach , Oberndorf , Riedelshäuslein and Walburgswinden belonged. In 1813 the rural community of Hirschneuses was formed, to which Dietenholz, Neudietenholz, Neudorf and Walburgswinden belonged. With the second community edict (1818), two rural communities were formed:

  • Rural community of Hirschneuses;
  • Rural community Neudorf with Dietenholz, Neudietenholz and Walburgswinden.

The administration and jurisdiction of the Hirschneuses community was subordinate to the Markt Erlbach regional court and the Ipsheim tax office for financial administration . From 1862 Hirschneuses was administered by the Neustadt an der Aisch district office (renamed the Neustadt an der Aisch district in 1938 ) and from 1856 by the Markt Erlbach rent office (1920–1929: Markt Erlbach tax office , from 1929: Fürth tax office ). The jurisdiction remained until 1879 with the district court of Markt Erlbach, 1880–1959 district court of Markt Erlbach , from 1959 district court of Fürth . The municipality had an area of 5.605 km².

On January 1, 1972, Hirschneuses was incorporated into Neuhof an der Zenn as part of the regional reform .
