history
Over several centuries, Oberndorf and Kirchfarrnbach formed a real community .
Towards the end of the 18th century, Oberndorf and Meiersberg formed a community. There were three properties in Oberndorf. The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Bayreuth city bailiff in Markt Erlbach . The Neuhof caste office in Brandenburg-Bayreuth held the authority of the village and the community as well as the lordship over the three farms .
As part of the municipal edict , Oberndorf was assigned to the Hirschneuse tax district formed in 1811 . In 1813 it was assigned to the Meiersberg rural community . With the second community edict (1818) it was re-incorporated into the rural community of Kreben , which was finally integrated into the rural community of Katterbach on November 9, 1824 .
With the regional reform in Bavaria , Oberndorf was incorporated into Wilhermsdorf on July 1, 1972.
