Wolfsmühle is a district of the Wilhermsdorf market in the Fürth district in Middle Franconia .

geography

The wasteland lies on the Ulsenbach, which is a left tributary of the Zenn . The forest area Stößfeldlein borders in the northeast , approx. 0.75 km to the west lies the Mühlfeld . A community road leads to Mittelmühle (0.5 km northwest) or Unterulsenbach (1 km southeast).

history

Towards the end of the 18th century, the wolf mill belonged to Unterulsenbach . The mill had the Brandenburg-Bayreuth caste office Neuhof as landlord .

As part of the community edict, Wolfsmühle was assigned to the Markt Erlbach tax district, which was formed in 1811 . It belonged to the rural community Eschenbach, founded in 1813 . On September 14, 1824, the reunification took place in the rural community of Siedelbach . On January 1, 1972, Wolfsmühle was incorporated into Wilhermsdorf as part of the regional reform .

Former architectural monument

  • Mühle am Ulsenbach: Two-storey plastered half-timbered building from the 18th century. Three attic floors, one with a arched elevator hatch. Basket-arched front door, doubled in a diamond shape. - Associated single-storey courtyard house. Constructive half-timbered gable. The front door lintel is marked LE 1778 , with a mill wheel in between. Skylight, doubled door.

The place has been predominantly Evangelical-Lutheran since the Reformation. The residents of the Evangelical Lutheran denomination are parish to St. Martin and Maria (Wilhermsdorf) , the residents of the Roman Catholic denomination to St. Michael (Wilhermsdorf) .
