Unterulsenbach is a district of the Wilhermsdorf market in the Fürth district in Middle Franconia .

geography

In the village, standing at the bottom of a tallow fork, the left upper reaches of the Ulsenbach and the right upper reaches of the Erlenbach merge to form a short stilt creek, which is sometimes also called Ulsenbach and which flows into the Zenn in the nearby main town of the market town . To the south lies thunderclap field , about 0.5 km in the north are the industrial area owl cries and the forest area Stößfeldlein .

Municipal roads lead to Wilhermsdorf (1 km southeast), to Wolfsmühle (1 km northwest), to Markt Erlbach to state road 2244 (3 km west) and to the district road FÜ 18 near Wilhermsdorf (0.8 km east).

history

The place was first mentioned by name in 1136 as "Ulsinbach" (from the personal name Ulso , a short form for Udalrich ).

In the late 18th century, there were nine Unterulsenbach property (2 houses, 2 Höflein, 1 Halbhof, two goods, Central and Wolfsmühle ). The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Bayreuth municipal bailiff's office in Markt Erlbach . The Neuhof caste office held the village and community rulership as well as the lordship over all properties .

As part of the community edict, Unterulsenbach was assigned to the Markt Erlbach tax district formed in 1811 . It belonged to the rural community Eschenbach, founded in 1813 . 1958 Unterulsenbach was incorporated into Wilhermsdorf.

Since joining the Reformation, the place has been predominantly Evangelical-Lutheran. The residents of the Evangelical Lutheran denomination are parish to St. Martin and Maria (Wilhermsdorf) , the residents of the Roman Catholic denomination to St. Michael (Wilhermsdorf) .
