Unterfeldbrecht is a district of the Neuhof an der Zenn market in the Neustadt an der Aisch-Bad Windsheim district in Middle Franconia .

geography

The Leitenbach, which is a right tributary of the Zenn , flows through the village . In the southeast is the Steinach corridor , about 0.75 km to the southeast is the Oberholz , about 0.5 km to the south is the Schenkenholz and about 0.5 km to the southwest of the Lerchengraben. Communal roads lead to Oberfeldbrecht to state road 2255 (1.1 km west), to Neuhof to district road NEA 10 (1.8 km north) and to state road 2245 (2.5 km south-east).

history

The place is first mentioned in 1312 as "Niedern-Veltgebreche". The monastery Heilsbronn where he gained a total of 14 properties, of which nine during the Thirty Years' War desolate.

At the end of the 18th century there were 16 properties in Unterfeldbrecht. The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Bayreuth municipal bailiff's office in Markt Erlbach . As part of the community edict, Unterfeldbrecht was assigned to the Neuhof an der Zenn tax district formed in 1811 . It belonged to the rural community of Oberfeldbrecht, founded in 1813 . With the second community edict (1818) Unterfeldbrecht became an independent rural community. As early as November 9, 1824, it was again incorporated into Oberfeldbrecht. On January 1, 1972 Unterfeldbrecht was incorporated into Neuhof an der Zenn as part of the regional reform .

Former architectural monuments

  • House No. 2. Single-storey residential stable house, 18th century. New stable, residential part in half-timbered houses. In the two-storey gable ⅔high struts and a round-arched elevator hatch.
  • House number 9: the parish hall. Single-storey half-hipped roof house, first half of the 19th century. Toothed corner cuboids, turrets made of constructive framework, pyramid roof, flag marked 1950 .

The place has been predominantly Evangelical-Lutheran since the Reformation. The residents of the Evangelical Lutheran denomination are parish to St. Kilian (Neuhof an der Zenn) , the residents of the Roman Catholic denomination to St. Michael (Wilhermsdorf) .
