Joshua Aloiye Okogie (born September 1, 1998 in Lagos ) is a Nigerian / American basketball player . The development player is under contract with the Minnesota Timberwolves .

career

Okogie was in Nigeria Lagos born and came up with three years in the United States. He is a citizen of Nigeria and the United States.

Okogie played at Shiloh High School, Georgia, and received offers from several colleges, including the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech), Clemson University , University of Tennessee, and Kansas State University . He chose Georgia Tech and was part of its basketball team from 2016 to 2018. In 61 games Okogie came to averages of 16.9 points, 5.8 rebounds, two basket assists and 1.5 ball wins. He left Georgia Tech in May 2018 to pursue a professional basketball player.

In the NBA draft process in June 2018, the Minnesota Timberwolves secured Okogie's services in 20th place.

National team

In 2017 Okogie took part in the World Cup in Egypt with the U19 national team of the United States and won the bronze medal there.
