history

In 1390 the place was first mentioned in a document as "Kreppelndorf". In 1606 the place was mentioned for the first time in its present form as "Kreppendorff". The meaning of the place name is unclear.

At the end of the 18th century there were 7 properties in Kreppendorf. The high court and the village and community rulership was exercised by the Brandenburg-Ansbach municipal bailiff's office in Langenzenn . The landlords were the Obermichelbach church (1 half-yard), the Schönborn rule Pommersfelden (1 estate), Nuremberg owners: von Behaim (1 half-yard), von Pömer (1 yard), von Tucher (2 estates) and the Schwabach citizen Dr. Gag (1 yard).

As part of the community edict, Kreppendorf was assigned to the Veitsbronn tax district formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the rural community Veitsbronn formed in the same year . Until 1812 and from 1823 to 1834, two properties in voluntary jurisdiction were subordinate to the Patrimonial Court of Lohe and Behringersdorf and one property from 1823 to 1829 to the Patrimonial Court of Leyh .
