Wasenmühle (colloquially: "Wōseʳmīl") is a district of the town of Langenzenn in the Middle Franconian district of Fürth .
geography
The wasteland lies on the Zenn and can be reached via the Wasenmühlweg. Commercial unit I and the municipal sewage treatment plant are located immediately to the south.
history
The place was first mentioned in the Salbuch of the Cadolzburg office from 1414 as "mule auf dem Wasen". The place name is based on the field name Wasen (= grassland, wet meadow).
Towards the end of the 18th century, the Wasenmühle belonged to Langenzenn. The mill had the Brandenburg-ansbachische Box Office Cadolzburg as a landlord . Under the Prussian administration (1792–1806) of the Principality of Ansbach, the Wasenmühle was given house number 157 in Langenzenn.
As part of the municipal edict, Wasenmühle was assigned to the Langenzenn tax district formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the municipality of Langenzenn, which was formed in the same year.
