Burggrafenhof (colloquially: "Hūf") is a district of the town of Langenzenn in the Middle Franconian district of Fürth .
geography
The village lies on a flat hilly plain consisting of arable land and grassland. In the west the corridor is called Am Weiher, in the southwest Hutäcker. The industrial area of Langenzenn is located a little northwest of the village, and the Great Forest a little east. The district road FÜ 11 leads to a junction of the federal road 8 near Langenzenn (0.7 km northeast) or Keidenzell (1.5 km south).
history
The place was in the 1360/70 Urbar the burgrave Nuremberg first mentioned as "Castle horror-Hoff". At that time there were 16 farms. In 1374, Burgrave Friedrich sold some goods from this place to the Nuremberg patricians Haller von Hallerstein . In 1409 the Langenzenn monastery received a court and part of the tithe . In 1535 the place was mentioned in the Salbuch of the margravial office of Langenzenn. At that time there were eleven teams, all of which were margraves. During the Thirty Years War the place was completely devastated.
Towards the end of the 18th century there were 14 properties in Burggrafenhof (6 courtyards, 5 half courtyards, 2 estates, 1 house). The high court and the village and community rulership was exercised by the Brandenburg-Ansbach municipal bailiff's office in Langenzenn . All properties had the Cadolzburg caste office in Brandenburg-Ansbach as the landlord . In 1799 12 properties are given for the place.
As part of the municipal edict , Burggrafenhof was assigned to the Keidenzell tax district formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the Keidenzell rural community formed in the same year .
On May 1, 1978, Burggrafenhof was incorporated into Langenzenn as part of the regional reform in Bavaria .

- House No. 8: modest, one-storey residential stable from the first half of the 18th century, solid, plastered, north gable half-timbered (K-struts), loft extension from more recent times.

The place has been predominantly Evangelical-Lutheran since the Reformation. The residents of the Evangelical Lutheran denomination are parish in the Evangelical Lutheran parish church (Langenzenn) , the residents of the Roman Catholic denomination to St. Marien (Langenzenn) .
