Neumühle (colloquially: "Naimīl") is a property in the town of Langenzenn in the Middle Franconian district of Fürth . Until 1961 it was managed as an officially named district .

geography

The former wasteland is on the south bank of the Zenn and can be reached via Sanktustorstraße.

history

The place was in the castle Count Urbar mentioned that originated around 1370 as "mulner of Zenne" was first documented. In 1464 it was called "Marckmüll". Around 1500 the mill was used as a municipal dye house, in 1528 it was also known as "Ferbhauß". In 1613 the "Stattmüll" was built in its place.

Towards the end of the 18th century, the Neumühle belonged to Langenzenn. The mill had the Brandenburg-ansbachische Box Office Cadolzburg as a landlord . Under the Prussian administration (1792–1806) of the Principality of Ansbach, the Lohmühle was given house number 156 in the village of Langenzenn.

As part of the community edict, Neumühle was assigned to the Langenzenn tax district formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the municipality of Langenzenn, which was formed in the same year.

The place has been predominantly Evangelical-Lutheran since the Reformation. The residents of the Evangelical Lutheran denomination are parish in the Evangelical Lutheran parish church (Langenzenn) , the residents of the Roman Catholic denomination to St. Marien (Langenzenn) .
