Hausen ( listen ? / I , colloquially: "Hausn") is a district of the town of Langenzenn in the central Franconian district of Fürth . Audio file / audio sample

geography

The hamlet is located on a small hill that slopes to the north, west and south, and is surrounded by arable land, grassland and some small ponds. In the west the corridor is called Steigäcker. A residential path leads to a community road (0.5 km southwest) that runs to Horbach (0.8 km west) or to a junction of federal highway 8 (1.1 km east).

history

In the foundation letter of the Heilsbronn monastery from 1132, as witnesses u. a. "Marcelin et Berhtold de Husen" called. This is also the first written mention of the place. The place name is based on the Middle High German word "hûsen", a dative plural form (for the houses).

Towards the end of the 18th century there were five properties in Hausen. The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Ansbach city bailiff Langenzenn . The village and community rulership was held by the Brandenburg-Ansbach monastery office of Langenzenn . Landlords were the monastery office Langenzenn (two courtyards), the Deutschordenskommende Nürnberg (one courtyard) and the court heirs (two estates).

As part of the community edict , Hausen was assigned to the Seukendorf tax district formed in 1808 and the Horbach rural community founded in the same year .

On May 1, 1978, Hausen was incorporated into Langenzenn as part of the regional reform in Bavaria .

Since the Reformation, the residents of the place are predominantly Evangelical-Lutheran and parish in the Evangelical-Lutheran parish church (Langenzenn) , the Catholics to St. Marien (Langenzenn) .
