Hardhof (colloquially: "Håʳdhōf") is a district of the city of Langenzenn in the Middle Franconian district of Fürth .
geography
The hamlet is located on a flat, hilly plateau, consisting of arable land and grassland with a few trees. In the east the corridor is called Hardhoffeld. Approx. The Mühlholz lies 0.5 km to the north. Two municipal roads lead to Langenzenn each to the FÜ 11 district road (0.7 km southeast and 1 km south).
history
1412 the village was mentioned as "Hoff at the Hartt" was first documented as the burgrave Nuremberg this together with the tithe to the monastery Langenzenn handed. The place name is derived from an identical field name, which is based on the Middle High German word "hard" (mountain forest).
At the end of the 18th century, Hardhof consisted of an estate. The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Ansbach city bailiff Langenzenn . The Ganzhof had the monastery of Langenzenn as landlord .
As part of the community edict, Hardhof was assigned to the Laubendorf tax district, formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the rural community Laubendorf formed in the same year .
On July 1, 1972, Hardhof was incorporated into Langenzenn as part of the regional reform in Bavaria .

- House No. 1: Farmhouse, two-storey solid plastered building of a manorial character, probably first half of the 18th century, steep hipped roof, belt cornice, corner pilasters, on the courtyard side (six upper floor windows) the former basket arch gate bricked up to a rectangular door, the profiled arch frame with keystone and fighters is still present, also a cornice cranked up over it

Since the Reformation, the residents of the place are predominantly Evangelical-Lutheran and parish in the Evangelical-Lutheran parish church (Langenzenn) , the Catholics to St. Marien (Langenzenn) .
