Hagenmühle is a district of the town of Langenzenn in the Middle Franconian district of Fürth .

geography

The wasteland lies on the Fembach, a left tributary of the Zenn . The Mühlholz borders in the south-west, approx. 0.5 km south of the Hardhoffeld. The place has now opened up as house number 22 on Hagenmühlweg.

history

The place was first mentioned in 1504 as "Hagenmül". The place name is probably based on the Middle High German word " hac " (= thorn bush, shrub).

Towards the end of the 18th century, Hagenmühle consisted of one property. The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Bavarian Fraischvogteiamt Emskirchen-Hagenbüchach . The mill had the state alms office of the imperial city of Nuremberg as landlord .

As part of the municipal edict, Hagenmühle was assigned to the Hagenbüchach tax district formed in 1811 . In 1813 it was assigned to the rural community of Kirchfembach .

In the course of the regional reform in Bavaria , Hagenmühle was incorporated into Langenzenn on January 1, 1972.

The place has been predominantly Evangelical-Lutheran since the Reformation. The residents of the Evangelical Lutheran denomination are parish to St. Kilian (Hagenbüchach) , the residents of the Roman Catholic denomination to St. Marien (Langenzenn) .
