Hammermühle is a district of the town of Langenzenn in the Middle Franconian district of Fürth .
geography
The wasteland lies on the Hammerbach, a left tributary of the Fembach , which in turn is a left tributary of the Zenn . In the meantime, the place has opened up as house number 10 on Hammermühlweg.
history
Towards the end of the 18th century, the hammer mill belonged to Kirchfembach . The mill had the Brandenburg-Bayreuth monastery office Münchaurach as landlord . Under the Prussian administration (1792-1806) of the Principality of Bayreuth, the hammer mill was given house number 14 in the village of Kirchfembach.
As part of the community edict, Hammermühle was assigned to the Hagenbüchach tax district, which was formed in 1811 . In 1813 it was assigned to the rural community of Kirchfembach .
As part of the regional reform in Bavaria , Hammermühle was incorporated into Langenzenn on January 1, 1972.

Since the Reformation, the inhabitants of the place are predominantly Evangelical-Lutheran and parish to St. Kilian (Hagenbüchach) , the inhabitants of the Roman Catholic denomination to St. Marien (Langenzenn) .
