Lohe (colloquially: "Lå") is a district of the town of Langenzenn in the Middle Franconian district of Fürth .

geography

The village is located on the south bank of the Zenn , directly opposite the village of Laubendorf . Approx. Heinersdorf is 0.25 km further west . Approx. The Egelweiher corridor area lies 0.5 km to the southwest, and Neuholz is approx. 0.5 km south. The state road 2252 leads to Heinersdorf (1 km west) or to a junction of the federal road 8 (1.1 km east). A community road leads to Laubendorf (0.4 km north).

history

The place was first mentioned in a document in the castle counts land register from 1360/70. The place name is derived from the Middle High German "lôch", which means a deciduous forest . The monastery Langenzenn was its founding in 1409, the tenth awarded the town. In 1464 as in 1713 there were six margravial subject families in the village .

Towards the end of the 18th century there were nine properties in Lohe. The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Ansbach city bailiff Langenzenn . The landlords were the Cadolzburg caste office (six half-yards, two estates) and the Langenzenn monastery office (three estates). In 1801 there were eight properties in the village.

As part of the community edict, Lohe was assigned to the Laubendorf tax district formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the rural community Laubendorf formed in the same year .

On July 1, 1972, Lohe was incorporated into Langenzenn as part of the regional reform in Bavaria .

The place has been predominantly Evangelical-Lutheran since the Reformation. The residents of the Evangelical Lutheran denomination are parish in the Evangelical Lutheran parish church (Langenzenn) , the residents of the Roman Catholic denomination to St. Marien (Langenzenn) .
