history
Kirchfembach was first mentioned around 1150 when Ekkehard de Vuenbach testified to a contract between the abbot of the Bamberg monastery Michelsberg and the bishop of Würzburg. A church was mentioned as early as 1158, which was a branch of Emskirchen. In the fiefdom of the Würzburg monastery , which must have been created between 1303 and 1317, a Rüdiger received a tithe in “Vendebach” as a fief. Burkhard von Vendebach received the November tenth. In addition, Nuremberg citizens were wealthy in the place. On June 25, 1343, Traudel Goppolt received an estate from Berthold von Fendbach. In the Urbar of Burgraviate of Nuremberg of the Year 1361/64 "Kirchuendenbach" is described as the castle Count's Office Langenzenn belong. The monastery Heilsbronn received in 1488, 1494 and 1501 by Ludwig von Eyb whose gradient in Kirchfembach. At the time of the Reformation , the Kirchfembach parish belonged to Emskirchen and, in this regard, participated in its development in 1529. After devastation during the Thirty Years War , only seven farms were still inhabited in 1648 out of the previous 24 stoves.
At the end of the 18th century there were 20 properties in Kirchfembach. The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Bavarian Fraischvogteiamt Emskirchen-Hagenbüchach . The rulership of the village and the community was held by the state charity office of the imperial city of Nuremberg , which was contested by the Hagenbüchach Vogtamt . The landlords were Principality of Bayreuth: Monastery Office Münchaurach (one inn, one mill, one hammer mill, one farm, one house), Kastenamt Dietenhofen (two half yards) and the imperial city of Nuremberg: Landesalmosenamt (four farms, one farm, four farms, three houses), Hospital Office of the Holy Spirit (a half courtyard).
In 1810 Kirchfembach came to the new Kingdom of Bavaria . As part of the municipal edict, it was assigned to the Hagenbüchach tax district in 1811 . In 1813 the rural community of Kirchfembach was formed, to which Hagenmühle , Hammermühle and Pirkach belonged. It was subordinate to the regional court of Markt Erlbach in administration and jurisdiction and to the tax office in Neustadt an der Aisch . With the second community edict (1818), two rural communities were formed:
- Rural community Kirchfembach with Hagenmühle and Hammermühle,
- Rural community of Pirkach.
At the same time, Oberfembach was changed from Hagenbüchach to Kirchfembach, which was reversed on November 9, 1824. From 1862 Kirchfembach was administered by the Neustadt an der Aisch district office (from 1938: Neustadt an der Aisch district ) and from 1856 by the Markt Erlbach rent office (1920–1929: Markt Erlbach tax office , from 1929: Neustadt an der Aisch tax office ). The jurisdiction remained with the district court of Markt Erlbach until 1879, from 1880 to 1959 district court of Markt Erlbach , from 1959 district court of Fürth . The community originally had an area of 4.187 km².
On January 1, 1972, Kirchfembach was incorporated into Langenzenn.
