history

The place was first mentioned by name in 1361/64 in the castle counts Salbuch . At that time the place was subordinate to the Burgravial Office of Schauerberg . In 1502/06 the place was partly subordinate to the margravial office of Langenzenn, partly to the margravial office of Cadolzburg and partly to the imperial city of Nuremberg .

At the end of the 18th century there were 17 properties in Pirkach. The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Bayreuth Fraischvogteiamt Emskirchen-Hagenbüchach . The village and township government had the Vogt office Hagenbüchach held. The landlords were the Principality of Bayreuth (16 properties; Vogtamt Hagenbüchach: 1 tavern, 3 Huben , 3 Viertelhöflein, 1 estate, 4 estates, 1 drip farm ; Münchaurach monastery : 2 half yards , 1 smithy) and the State Almosenamt of the Imperial City of Nuremberg (1 courtyard, 1st floor ) Dreiviertelhof).

In 1810 Pirkach came to the new Kingdom of Bavaria . As part of the municipal edict, it was assigned to the Hagenbüchach tax district formed in 1811 . In 1813 the rural community of Kirchfembach was formed, to which Pirkach also belonged. With the second community edict (1818) it was dissolved and formed its own rural community. This was under the administration and jurisdiction of the Markt Erlbach district court and the tax office in Neustadt an der Aisch . From 1862 Pirkach was administered by the Neustadt an der Aisch district office (renamed the Neustadt an der Aisch district in 1938 ) and from 1856 by the Markt Erlbach rent office (1920–1929: Markt Erlbach tax office , from 1929: Fürth tax office ). The jurisdiction remained until 1879 with the district court of Markt Erlbach, 1880–1959 district court of Markt Erlbach , from 1959 district court of Fürth . The municipality had an area of 3.425 km².

On April 1, 1972, Pirkach was incorporated into Emskirchen as part of the regional reform .
