history

You can tell from the name ending –winds that this place is a Wendensiedlung . These were forcibly resettled by German landlords in the 8th to 10th centuries. The place name contains the personal name Nithart , whose bearer from the area of Uehlfeld (Rohensaas) can be regarded as the founder of the settlement. In 1295 the place was first mentioned by name as "Neithershaben" when the Nuremberg citizen Hermann von Stein bequeathed an estate to the Birkenfeld monastery . At the beginning of the 14th century, a tenth of the entire village still belonged to the Würzburg monastery . In 1464 the place is listed in the margravial land register and is part of the Markt Erlbach office. At the beginning of the 16th century, parts of the village were under the authority of Emskirchen. Most of the goods here were owned by the Wilhermsdorf manor .

The Reformation , which was implemented in the region from 1528 onwards, was carried out , as in Wilhermsdorf, only in 1572 after the previous rule of the church patronage died out in 1569 (with Wolf von Wilhermsdorf) and the Baron von Milchling became the new rule.

At the end of the 18th century there were 42 properties in Neidhardswinden. The high court exercised partly, the Brandenburg-Bayreuth Fraischvogteiamt Emskirchen-Hagenbüchach , partly the rule of Wilhermsdorf . The rulership of Wilhermsdorf held the village and community rulership, which was contested by the Emskirchen caste and jurisdiction office . The landlords were the manor Buchklingen , which belonged to the Wilhermsdorf estate (33 properties: 16 estates, 16 houses, 1 forge) and other landowners (9 properties).

In 1810 Neidhardswinden came to the new Kingdom of Bavaria . As part of the community edict, it was assigned to the Emskirchen tax district formed in 1811 . It belonged to the rural community Dürrnbuch formed in 1813 . From 1817 to 1818 Neidhardswinden was subject to the Wilhermsdorf Lordship Court . With the second community edict (1818), Neidhartswinden formed its own rural community with the Finkenmühle . It was subordinate to the regional court of Markt Erlbach in administration and jurisdiction and to the tax office in Neustadt an der Aisch . However, until 1839 the Wilhermsdorf patrimonial court held voluntary jurisdiction and the police over 33 properties . From 1862 Neidhardswinden was administered by the Neustadt an der Aisch district office (renamed the Neustadt an der Aisch district in 1938 ) and from 1856 by the Markt Erlbach rent office (1920–1929: Markt Erlbach tax office , from 1929: Neustadt an der Aisch tax office ). The jurisdiction remained until 1879 with the district court of Markt Erlbach, 1880–1959 district court of Markt Erlbach , from 1959 district court of Fürth . The municipality had an area of 4.901 km².

On January 1, 1978 Neidhardswinden was incorporated into Emskirchen as part of the regional reform .
