Borbath is a district of the market Emskirchen in the district of Neustadt an der Aisch-Bad Windsheim in Middle Franconia .
geography
A nameless stream flows through the village, a left tributary of the Middle Aurach . Approx. The Kaisersberg ( 369 m above sea level ) rises 0.5 km to the west of the village, the Breitenfeld is approx. 0.5 km to the northwest and the Schneckenfeld to the east. A community connecting road leads to Eckenberg (1.7 km northeast) or crossing State Road 2244 to Leitsmühle (0.9 km southeast).
history
The place was first mentioned by name in 1174 as a "prayer". In 1802 the place was called "Porbert".
By the end of the 18th century, there were 14 properties in Borbath. The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Bayreuth Fraischvogteiamt Emskirchen-Hagenbüchach . The village and township government had the Vogt office Hagenbüchach held. Landlord were the Principality Bayreuth (11 estate; Vogt Official Hagenbüchach: 2 half-Huben , 2/2 yards, 1 Good; steward Münchaurach : 2 freight, 2 Gütlein; steward Frauenaurach : 1 Good; Box Office Neustadt : 1 Sölde ), the rule Wilhermsdorf ( 1 house) and the St. Jobst Siechenkobelstiftung in the imperial city of Nuremberg (1 estate, 1 Sölde).
As part of the community edict, Borbath was assigned to the Oberreichenbach tax district, which was formed in 1811 . It belonged to the rural community Eckenberg, founded in 1813 . The Wilhermsdorf Patrimonial Court held voluntary jurisdiction over a property until 1839 . On January 1, 1972, Borbath was incorporated into Emskirchen as part of the regional reform .
