history

The place was first mentioned by name in 1356 as "Nider Bottenbach". The further development of the place is unknown. In 1730 this only consisted of a single courtyard, which was expanded into a hamlet by the settlement of French Huguenots.

Towards the end of the 18th century there were 4 properties in the Flugshof (3 goods, 1 semi-estate). The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Bayreuth Fraischvogteiamt Emskirchen-Hagenbüchach . The Emskirchen caste and jurisdiction office held the village and community rulership and the lordship over all properties .

As part of the community edict, Flugshof was assigned to the Emskirchen tax district, which was formed in 1811 . It also belonged to the municipality of Emskirchen, founded in 1813 . With the second community edict (1818) it was re- grouped into the newly formed rural community Schauerberg . On January 1, 1970, before the regional reform in Bavaria , Schauerberg was incorporated into Emskirchen.
