Tanzenhaid is a district of the Emskirchen market in the Neustadt an der Aisch-Bad Windsheim district in Middle Franconia .

geography

The hamlet is located in a forest clearing and is immediately surrounded by ponds: Striegel- and Herrenweiher (NW), Tanzhaidteiche (N and E ), Stadelweiher (SW). In the north-west is the Herrenholz , in the north the Langholz and in the south the beggar's hat . Agricultural traffic routes lead to Hohholz on state road 2414 (2 km west), to Emelsdorf (1.7 km north-west) and to Oberreichenbach to the district road ERH 28 (1.6 km south-east).

history

The place was first mentioned by name around 1136 as "Tancenhoge". On May 24th 1753 the place came into possession of the Counts of Pückler-Limpurg .

Towards the end of the 18th century there were 8 properties in Tanzenhaid. The high court and the village and community rulership exercised the rule of Brunn . The lords were the lordship of Brunn (1 cellar courtyard , 5 estates, 1 shepherd's house) and the Bamberg office of Herzogenaurach (1 courtyard).

In the geographic statistical-topographic lexicon of Franconia (1799) the place is described as follows:

“ Danzenheid, or rather Kellerhof , a small village in the Bamberg district of Herzogenaurach. Danzenhaydt is an imperial fief of Mr. Count von Pückler, with a castle, 3 hours from Neustadt an der Aisch. A whole field fiefdom belongs to the cellar house standing there, belonging to the Hochstifte Bamberg with taxes, fiefdom etc. etc., like another Baurenguth; and is awarded by portatorem . "

As part of the municipal edict, Tanzenhaid was assigned to the Brunn tax district formed in 1811 . It also belonged to the rural community of Brunn, founded in 1813 . With the second community edict (1818) it was re-incorporated into the newly formed rural community Hohholz . The patrimonial court held voluntary jurisdiction and the police until 1833 , and the Brunn nursing office from 1833 to 1848. On January 1, 1972, Brunn was incorporated into Emskirchen as part of the regional reform .
